A new permanent position has become available for an experienced .Net Software Engineer.

Our client is looking for someone with a commercial background working with business critical applications in a high reliability and medium transaction volume environment, to develop in C# .Net and other Microsoft technologies and sometimes open source languages and tools

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of an agile methodology
• High attention to detail and quality
• 3+ years of experience in Application Development in .Net (C#, ASP.Net)
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Expertise in Microsoft .net product development environment
• Exposure to Scrum development methodology is very desirable
• Ability to develop Windows based – Client-Server Application.
• Good experience in development and maintenance of applications developed in .Net.
• Develop new functionalities on existing products.
• Ability to perform key portions of the software development lifecycle including designing, coding, testing, documenting, installing, and maintaining custom applications.

They use a variety of technologies including .net, C#, SQL, WCF, ASP.net, web programming and much more. They are very serious about quality control so understanding the need for design/code reviews and the adherence to our coding standards is a must.

To be successful in this role it is important that you can show a successful history of full SDLC development and a passion for staying at the leading edge of Microsoft technologies. You will be keen to show initiative and take pride in quality software development practices.
